Recipes, meal planning and shopping lists in Mi Panza

A recipe, the batch you cook for several people and the amount you actually eat are different quantities. Mi Panza keeps the recipe while letting you adjust servings for planning, shopping and logging a meal.

Build a recipe from ingredients

Select ingredients and amounts, set the number of servings and add the final cooked weight if you know it. Nutrition is calculated from the chosen references. Use basic foods, packaged products or personal label records.

Choose the matching preparation for each ingredient: dry rice in a recipe and cooked rice on a plate are different references. If a prepared food already includes oil or other ingredients, avoid counting them twice.

Connect the recipe, plan and shopping list

The weekly meal plan and shopping list are Premium planning features. Place a recipe on a day and meal, set servings per person and adjust how many people you are shopping for.

Shopping quantities scale ingredients from the original recipe yield and planned servings. Missing ingredient information triggers a notice; an incomplete list is not filled with invented quantities. Filter meal ideas by the time you have to cook.

Log the amount you actually ate

When opening a planned recipe, review the serving you will add to the diary. If you know the cooked weight of the whole recipe, you can log grams; this conversion needs the actual recipe yield.

Historical versions retain the recipe used by earlier entries and plans. Editing a recipe does not rewrite past meals. Before a Premium purchase, the store displays the available price and terms. Joining the launch list does not start a subscription.
